Cart Lookout is a checkout-monitoring service for WooCommerce that is not built yet. This page explains what this website collects while we find out whether people want it. Questions or requests: hello@cartlookout.com.

What we collect

• If you join the waitlist: your email address, the monthly price you were shown, and the date you signed up.
• When you view the page: one anonymous count per day for the price you were shown. Nothing in it identifies you.
• To stop abuse of the sign-up form: a one-way fingerprint of your email (it can’t be turned back into the address), deleted automatically within two days.
• If you pre-order: payment is handled by Stripe on its own page, under Stripe’s privacy policy. We receive your email, the amount paid and anything else the payment form asks for; we never see your card details.

What we don’t collect

• No cookies.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• No IP addresses: our web server does not keep visitor logs.

Why

To email you when Cart Lookout is ready to try, and to compare interest at different prices. We only email you about Cart Lookout. We don’t sell or share your email.

Where it is kept, and for how long

On a server we rent from hosting.com. We keep the waitlist until launch and for up to 12 months after it. If we decide not to build Cart Lookout, we delete the list and tell you.

Email hello@cartlookout.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Pre-orders are refundable any time before launch.
