Cart Lookout is a checkout-monitoring service for WooCommerce stores. By creating an account or connecting a store you agree to these terms. If we change them, we’ll email account holders before the change takes effect. Questions: hello@cartlookout.com.
Cart Lookout is operated by Jenisha Adhikari, ABN 30 776 501 055.
What the service does
With your permission, Cart Lookout places test orders on your store with a real browser, on a schedule, and alerts you when checkout fails twice in a row. It uses the free Cart Lookout WordPress plugin, which you install and connect to your account.
Test orders
- Test orders use fictional details and a hidden test payment method that takes no money, or an offline method such as cash on delivery. Live card payments are never used.
- Test orders are tagged, send no WooCommerce emails, skip WooCommerce webhooks and are deleted after each test, with stock restored.
- Another plugin that sends its own email directly, outside WooCommerce, may still send one for a test order. We can’t prevent that.
Your part
- Only connect stores you own or are allowed to manage.
- Keep your connection token private. You can disconnect at any time from the plugin’s settings screen, which deletes the stored secrets straight away.
- Don’t use the service to test stores without permission or to put load on them.
What we promise, and what we can’t
We work hard to catch checkout problems quickly and to keep test orders out of your business. We can’t guarantee every failure will be caught, or caught in time, and the service is not a replacement for your own backups and checks.
Payment
Prices and plan limits are shown on the home page. Every plan starts with a free trial and can be cancelled at any time. Refunds are explained in our refund policy.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
