Frequently asked questions

How do I connect my store?

Install the free Cart Lookout plugin on your WordPress site, paste the connection token from your dashboard into WooCommerce → Cart Lookout, and press Connect. The first check runs within a minute.

Will test orders affect my customers or stock?

They are built not to: test orders are tagged, send no emails to customers or staff, are kept out of analytics and ad tracking, and are deleted after each test with stock put back.

Is my real payment gateway charged?

No. Test orders use a hidden test payment method from our plugin. It takes no money and only our signed test sessions can use it. We also check that your real payment methods are shown at checkout.

Will it alert me every time a check fails?

No. A failure must repeat a minute later before you hear about it. A firewall or captcha block is reported as “setup needed”, not “broken”. You hear again when checkout works.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time from Billing. The first 14 days are free, and if you ask within 14 days of your first payment we refund it in full.
