Other messages and what they mean
Site down, blocked, no payment method, test postponed, store clock wrong: what each means and what to do.
Site down
Your home page didn’t load or returned a server error, twice in a row. Check that your site loads in a browser. If it does not, contact your host. When it’s back, the next check closes the incident by itself.
Blocked by a firewall
A firewall or bot check (often Cloudflare, Wordfence or your host) showed our browser a challenge page instead of your shop. Shoppers usually aren’t affected. Let Cart Lookout through; on Cloudflare we can do it for you.
No payment method offered
No payment method was offered. Check WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, and any payment plugin that changed recently.
Store not connected
The plugin no longer accepts our checks. Reconnect it.
Store clock wrong
Our requests are signed and only valid for 5 minutes, so a server clock that’s more than 5 minutes out refuses them. Ask your host to turn on time sync (NTP).
Test postponed
Something on our side, or a short limit on your store, stopped a check. We try again automatically and never alert on it. If you see it for more than a few hours, email hello@cartlookout.com.
